LI-CON welcomes Richard Herr! We’ll be having a contest to find something Richard hasn’t done on Sunday. (No, we won’t. It would be too hard to win.)

Devo Spice!
LI-CON welcomes comedy-rapper Devo Spice. Enjoy his unique stylings as he joins our amazingly strong roster of performers.
Paul Levinson's Triumphant Return!
Everyone enjoyed Paul Levinson‘s time at LI-CON 1. So this year he’s taken it up a couple of notches. Not only is he still the award-winning author and critic: this time around we have a movie make from one of his stories, and Paul will be performing some of his music. Watch the trailer for The Chronology Protection Case:

Brimstone (Will Kucmierowski) to appear at LI-CON 2!
We’re proud to announce that Brimstone will bring some of his talents to our convention. I’m sure he’ll try to bring them all, but we have only 3 days and he’s an actor, pro wrestler, comic book creator, book publisher, game publisher, sauce and seasoning maker (!) and food show host. We can’t wait to see him.
Artist and Author Roy Mauritsen
We’re delighted to have Roy back at LI-CON, and I know you are too. Say “Hi” to him in the Dealers Room, or attend the programming he will appear on, or admire his art in our new Art Show (more to come on the Art Show).
Jeff Warner, Ninja-SMOF
We are very pleased to have Jeff participate at LI-CON 2. Among his other accomplishments, Jeff has co-founded too many conventions to count on the fingers of one hand (if you’re a Simpsons character), including I-CON. He’s moderated more panels on more subjects than most events have even had, total, in their existence. I look forward to seeing him in August.
Nanotechnologist Dr. Gary Halada
Gary Halada, Associate Professor of Materials Science and Engineering at Stony Brook University, will regale us with tales of stress tensor analysis in semirigid tensile bodies … NO, just kidding!
Actually he’ll be talking about nanotechnology and horrible engineering disasters (and other fascinating stuff). Gary is one of the founders of I-CON and I’m looking forward to working with him on this new convention.
John Rennie Returns!

John Rennie, TV host and science journalist, will return for LI-CON 2! Fresh off his triumph at ICON’s “Science and Technology Year in Review” John will be dazzling all with his incredible depth of knowledge and his astonishing wit and charm.
Hacker Izaac Falken will return for LI-CON 2

Izaac will be back to lend his technology expertise and help deconstruct some more video. Everyone who enjoyed our team’s take on Sharknado is looking forward to seeing what they’ll riff on this year!
